I can't believe how quickly my time in Nuwara Eliya has passed. I stayed 9 nights at Sky Heaven and enjoyed 7 great days at Tea Leaf Centre Nuwara Eliya. I said an emotional goodbye to Krishan at Sky Heaven this morning, as he has, as he did last year, provided me with the best service throughout my time there. My only disappointment was that I didn't share any time at all with Isabelle, as she was such a lovely companion for the past two years.

I made my way to Nanu Oya for my final day at Tea Leaf Centre Nuwara Eliya, where Chan and Sushila were delivering training on a new Code of Conduct with staff from Nuwara Eliya, Ragala, and Thawalanthenna Tea Leaf Centres, with one member of staff from Amba, too, I think. I thought the training session produced some very interesting discussions amongst the staff, with lots of pertinent questions being asked.

It's always fun when you get a range of Tea Leaf staff from different Tea Leaf Centres together and today was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere today, and I felt a little sad to be leaving, but also excited to be returning to Norwood, and to experience all the excitement prior to Daya's wedding on 31st January. Chan gave me a lift to Daya's, as he lives in Norwood, too, so we had a good catch-up on the way, as I've also known him since 2019.

It was, indeed, lovely to return to Daya's, as I am very moved by the welcome that I have received from his family, and I love this area of the Hill Country. Daya lives in a great spot, because he is only a short walk away from Norwood town, but you can also easily walk up into the tea estate, which I have done with him a few times now. I am looking forward to having this as my home base for visiting the Tea Leaf Centres in Maskeliya and Bogawantalawa.

Today's photos are a selection from many that I took at the Code of Conduct Training Day today.
