It was yet another 3 double Maths lessons today, with the first one being about the rules for knowing if a number is divisible by 2,3,4,5,6,9 or 10. I loved that one! The second one involved solving word problems in Maths. I loved that one too. The third one was yet another one on Roman numerals, which was less satisfying today. All of them were conducted in a rather chilly 33 degrees - a 3 degree drop from yesterday's highs - I nearly put a sweater on!
Surprisingly, a 3 degree drop in temperature did help ever so slightly, but these very high temperatures certainly sap your energy, and I have taken to having an afternoon siesta as soon as I get back to the apartment. Apparently, I have timed it pretty well this year, because just as the hottest season arrives here, the very cold weather in the UK is ending and temperatures there will be rising into the teens, so I might still think it's a bit nippy, but not too bad.
I fully intended to go for a swim at 18:30 this evening, but Sandra needed to have a brief chat with me that started at 18:15, but didn't end until 19:15, by which time it was too late for a swim, as I was having dinner at 19:30. I didn't mind at all, as I know Sandra greatly appreciates having someone to chat things through with, so that hour's chat actually passed very quickly. I will do my level best to have a swim tomorrow though, as I really need the exercise.
Razeena brought me some dinner to the apartment as she was going out this evening, then I had a very quiet evening in, catching up on a few emails. It was one of those evenings, which to be honest I rarely get here, where I thought how nice it would be to watch a film on the television. I don't miss the television out here, and I have found that I tend to watch much less television now when I am back in the UK - basically being much more selective about what I watch.
I took no new photographs today, so you are going to have my '6 of the best' choice tonight from the huge selection of photographs that I have already amassed on this latest trip to Sri Lanka.
The first photo is my favourite - what a precious bundle you are holding!
