I was reluctant to leave Ella this morning, as it had been such a lovely
weekend! The view of the waterfall was magnificent this morning, as it had
rained overnight and there were torrents of water cascading down. Reggie
arrived spot on at 09.30 to take me back to Nuwara Eliya. It was sunny and very
warm as we drove back, but you could feel the temperature drop as we climbed up
to Nuwara Eliya and when we arrived it even started to rain a bit, although
that cleared up fairly quickly.
I sorted a few things out in the house and did more washing, then Yad
and Jesmin came to the house at 14.00 for a Management Meeting, where we agreed
what I would be doing for my final 3 weeks here. I feel like I have been here
for so long, and I am looking forward to coming home, but I am also reluctant
to leave here, and the time seems to be passing very quickly now. I am looking
forward to going back to Maskeliya tomorrow for a couple of days.
Today's photos, as I mentioned yesterday are all from my visit to the Halpewatte Tea Factory, where I learned so much about tea production from Rajha that I could almost do a talk on it. The views from the Tea Factory were stunning, but the phone on my camera doesn't really do them justice, so there is just one photo of the view at the end.
