I met with Jesmin this morning to go through the Tea Leaf Vision Team Building Day Programme I have developed. I will be delivering this as an INSET Day at Nuwara Eliya tomorrow and again at Maskeliya on Friday. I am really looking forward to it, as I think it will be very well received and both sets of teachers should get a lot out of it.

I then went to The Grand Hotel to work on finalising the finer details of the INSET Days. I was fortunate to also be able to watch Scotland beat Russia 61-0 and then Wales beat Fiji 29-17. I took a great photo of three of the hotel staff posing behind one of their advertising promotions for the Rugby World Cup.

I did some washing this morning using the amazing twin-tub machine and I am posting a picture of it today, as it is like going back in time! You have to put your clothes in the washing side with some liquid detergent and then fill it with cold water (it doesn't use hot water) manually. You can then put it on a wash cycle for 25 minutes, after which you have to drain out the water and put fresh water in for rinsing, which you allow about 15 minutes for. You then have to drain out the water again and transfer your washing (not too much at a time) to the spinner, where it just spins for 5 minutes. Although it is called a Whitemagic machine, and it just about manages the job, it is certainly doesn't do it as well as a modern washing machine does with hot water!
